  • Measurements can be taken and stored while airborne
  • The Eagle sense and avoid system can be setup to fly within feet of a structure without fear of collision (Fall 2016)
  • The Eagle can provide both upward and forward facing obstacle avoidance with additional upward facing camera
  • In some cases,  underbridge inspection vehicle would not be required and would provide significant savings
  • Traffic control and congestion due to on bridge vehicles may be eliminated or drastically reduced.
  • The Eagle can be equipped with thermal or other sensors to collect images of bridge decks and elementsWhile on site, the Eagle platform can also be used to survey stream or river bank conditions as well as capture large overall aerial maps of dynamic bank erosion and lateral scour conditions
  • Important pre-inspection information for planning large-scale inspections such as clearances, rope access anchor points and general conditions can be obtained as an aid in the planning of a manual inspection
