Props and Motor

KDE carbon fiber folding props with matched KDE motors provide extended flight times and the ability to keep props attached during transport - providing a very efficient package for transport and shipping.

Folding Arm

The Eagle's unique folding arm design serves two purposes: It provides a very small package for transport and shipping (folded Eagle measures 20"x22"); and is designed to break away from the center frame connection point allowing for quick and inexpensive field repairs.

Sense and Avoid System.

Designed from the ground up as a critical safety feature for infrastructure inspection, the system consists of stereo camera, various sensors and onboard computer. It provides the operator the ability to configure the stand off distance from objects creating an invisible fence. Additionally, when operated autonomously, the system will "sense" any obstacle in the flight path and stop until pilot continues the mission. Optionally, a receiver or transponder can be added to the system to detect another craft headed into the Eagle airspace and take immediate evasive action. Sense and avoid system will be available early 2017 with features continuously added as avaiable.

The Eagle XF is payload agnostic - allowing the flexibility to use one of our standard EO/IR sensor packages or we can custom install a payload of your choice.

Quick Disconnect Landing Legs

Easily removable landing legs along with quick disconnect gimbal and folding arms are key to the Eagle compact size for transport. Landing gear comes in standard length and optional extended and retractable versions.

Navigation Lights

FAA compliant RED (left) and GREEN (right) extremly bright navigation lights allow for better orientation and will conform to standard aviation requirements as rules continue to be established for UAS platforms.

Molded Carbon Fiber Airframe

By using custom molded carbon fiber (instead of the less expensive and less durable off the shelf tube and plate design of most drone airframes), the Eagle XF is one of the strongest and durable airframes available. Additionally, we have designed the airframe with stress points and break points in case of a catastrophic event, protecting expensive electronics and payloads.
